Moderator: We have seen the 2011 car revealed in a very unique way. How important is it for you both to engage with the fans? 

Jenson Button: For us it is very important. We wouldn’t be here if we didn’t have fans and supporters. This is a great way of including the Vodafone customers as well as the fans in revealing the car. I think it went well. We enjoyed this very much and I hope the fans can also enjoy our success this season. 

Lewis Hamilton: It’s been quite an experience for us. Revealing our car in Berlin here, it is quite a historic place. Formula 1 is such an exclusive sport, it is difficult for the fans to really interact with the drivers and teams, so it is great for the people to come close-up with the drivers and close-up with the car here. I think it is a great experience to have a competition and the competition winner come out and help present the new car. 

Moderator: Lewis, how did you enjoy your birthday and period away from sport? 

Lewis Hamilton: I really enjoyed it; I had a great time away. I enjoyed my time in the United States. It was probably the best birthday ever and I celebrated it with my girlfriend. 

Moderator: Can you make a ranking of your opponents? Fernando (Alonso) is saying Michael Schumacher will be his main competitor. Do you agree?

Jenson Button: I really don’t know and it is impossible to judge how good Michael Schumacher will be in 2011. I know that Lewis Hamilton will be very strong and my strongest competitor. I hope this guy is whom I will be fighting for the World Championship this year. I think it is great that there are five World Champions driving in Formula 1 this year and 2 guys that came close. 

Lewis Hamilton: We have five World Champions and several other drivers who are capable of winning the championship. We’ll see after the first race... 

Moderator: Last season was really close... 

Jenson Button: It was close and I personally believed that Red Bull was incredibly strong. I was even a little surprised they didn’t get the title earlier. Having two drivers with experience is better than one, so hopefully that will help in the upcoming season. I was asked earlier what we want to achieve this year. It’s fairly easy. This team wants to win the World Championship. 

Moderator: With the new rule changes we have seen differences in the cars. Is there something that impressed you or something that you like? 

Jenson Button: Our car definitely looks different than most cars. I believe our car looks great. We’ll have to see which car will be the fastest car, that will be the best looking car for me. I think it is important to have new ideas developed, because if you only follow you will not be able to win.
